You cannot add the page in a quick manner. You need to point in super accurate spot in order to be able to add the side page. Please move it to the side and make the whole side area be the button to add pages not just small (+) icon point

In sitemap editor > On page name We can't click at the pencil to edit the name. And have to double click on the text instead to highlight and edit .

I normally sitemap the website first and then I go 'wireframe' it. Once I add a pre-made section a new section can be seen in the sitemap with the name of that section. There is no updating between sitemap and wireframe. So when I drag in a section, it will not fit in the section
